The lenses are shielded with Oakley HYDROPHOBIC™, a permanent smudge-resistant coating that repels water, oils and dust. Oakley added IRIDIUM® lens coating to balance light, and anti-reflective coating on the back of the lenses. When it comes to blocking glare, the optics achieve 99% polarization efficiency. Our polarized lenses are made with a liquid infusion process that bonds at the molecular level, eliminating the haze and distortion found in ordinary polarized lenses.

Optical performance meets the uncompromising standards of ANSI Z87.1, and impact resistance meets all ANSI Z80.3 standards. UV filtering is an unbeatable 100% for every harmful wavelength.
